• Every year there are 330 million tonnes of plastic produced. One rubbish truck of plastic is entering our Oceans every minute.
• Over 90% of seabirds are likely to have plastic in their stomachs. It is predicted that by 2050, plastic will outweigh the fish in our Oceans.
• Less than half of the 35 million plastic bottles that the UK throw away every day are recycled. It takes 450 years for a plastic bottle to break down in the Ocean.
